So, the boss has asked - can we ditch our domain controllers and just use Intune or similar considering 95% of our users are agile and not in office.
Its a fair point considering we have moved in last 18months to a more agile workforce.
We have moved majority of kit eg file server to sharepoint/365 so minor kit on side. Plus less staff on site - eg 20 or so.
Yes I have 3 domain controllers ( one I was going to decpromo but now use it to install updates on first considering the volume of them)
My concern is policies and controls, and not using Intune, it may not be suitable or there may even be a additional option to secure policies etc - but thats what I have a DC for currently.
