I attempted to deploy some Android Kiosk Tablets with Intune and they worked like magic for 3 months until they didn’t. Google deleted the account that linked Intune to (Managed?)Google Play for ToS violations which began unenrolling and factory resetting the tablets.
I opened a ticket with Google Workspace for Education and finally got an answer that the account used was a personal account and the Workspace team would be unable to provide further support. I guess that's some sort of relief that the tenant doesn't have any marks against it. Further research does show there is a way to setup managed google play apps if you don't use Google Workspace but we do actually have a tenant so that's what I must've done and the cause of the violation.
