upgrade non-profit 365 Business Standard to Premium then revert after autopilot?

Hi,

I work for a non-profit with very limited financial and technical resources.
We aim to roll out laptops (likely Lenovos with Windows 10 Pro OEM) and Android smartphones to about 60 mobile workers who are currently using Android tablets. At present these 60 users all have "Microsoft 365 Business Standard (non profit pricing)" (Office 365) licences. As far as I can see these licenses provide as good as no endpoint management functionality. We would like to use Autopilot to help roll out the laptops so we are wondering if it would make sense to temporarily upgrade our licensing to Business Premium, do the rollout (installing something like OCS Inventory on the laptops along the way) and then reverting the licensing back to Business Standard when the rollout is complete.

Can anyone tell me if this idea is risky?
