iPad OS devices do not appear in InTune management as a device until device is enrolled. This means the settings applied to a group are not applied.
In another iPad management solution I am able to prepare settings before the enrolment is done on the device using the Apple School Manager information. These devices can be assigned to "tags", this means when the device is enrolled it immediately grabs all settings/apps and restrictions upon login.
From what I can see on InTune it is expecting me to enrol the device then add to the group after the fact.
Can we not stage settings/app deployments so that it is all deployed as the device is enrolled?
