I need to create an app configuration policy for iPad's for one of our apps licensed through VPP. The vendor requires the following parameters to be configured...
authenticationcode (string containing an authentication code provided by the vendor)
devicename (string to contain the device name)
My issue is with the device name. We need to have this filled out dynamically, so that when the policy is pushed to the app on a particular device, the app is fed what the device name is so that it can match their records at the vendor, and must be unique for each device.
According to Microsoft, I believe only the below variables can be used, but none include the device name. In fact, the only variable that could be used is the serial number because all the others are too long for the vendors system. Problem with this is that its not...
