Hi, I'm looking for a little advice. I run a small tech company of 4 staff, all remote but we have a mix of 12 or so devices (Windows and Linux desktops and servers/VM's.)
I'm looking for something to automate the setup and ongoing security compliance for all of these devices.
I was originally thinking Ansible would be the solution but I'm not liking the initial faff of setting it up on the remote workers machines (I'm guessing everyone would need vpn's or cloudflard?) Saltstack looks like it might be better with the agent install but I've not tested it out yet.
MS Intune/Autopilot stuff looks perfect but annoyingly that doesn't work with servers and I can't seem to find an actual price for using it without the office stuff (MS seem to have changed plans again and links just go to overview pages.) I'm still tempted though as it seems to...
