I have been looking around but find the same information but not the piece I am after.
I was told how to do it but can't find the notes I made to lt it happen so I am here to ask.
I have setup a default/custom Start Menu and Taskbar using the Powershell Export method and it's working, Start Menu has locked categories and user can pin additional programs as they want and they persist. I am still trying to work out why the link to the support site is blank with the title 'New Tile' but that's not the point of this question (tho any ideas welcome on the side :D)
Anyway, back to what I am after. I want to allow users to add their own Pinned items to the Taskbar while leaving the required items intact. I can do the latter but when tested the user can't attach additional ones. This would normally be find but the request comes from the CEO...
