sysprep intune

hello fellow spiceheads 

long time no needed assistance :) 
So, we are switching from domain to Intune joined devices, the plan is when the user returns the laptops we will check for any updates/driver updates and then reset in order to give to the next one. 
instead of doing that, i assume we can sysprep or use any other alternative in order to always have an up to date image and instead of updating and resetting to just apply the image. 
we use to use SCCM for domain joined devices and i was wondering if there is anything similar for intune.
