Have a retention for company data copied to personal devices (O365)

Hi guys,

I have been assigned a task to have a 5 day retention of any data downloaded from O365 (mainly SharePoint and OneDrive). After 5 days, this data needs to be deleted from the personal device and not from O365. Would this be possible? I've been looking into DLP and retention policies etc. but we also don't want to enroll personal devices into Intune.

Any recommendations to accomplish this?
