So my company has some iPads. They are all enrolled in intune. The certificate on some of the iPads managed to expire before it got the new one so now they are not compliant and I can't manage them from intune.
I need to get the iPads back on again, but need to keep the data on them. The iPads are all signed into an iCloud account and backup. I have restored the iPads from an iCloud backup but they backup the old intune certificate so when I set it backup, that certificate is there.
I'm sure I have, but can't remember, if I've done a restore from iTunes and that was the same.
Apple Configurator can't delete the certificate, but it wouldn't work anyway as the iPad is done via DEP.
They are iPad Mini 5 on latest iOS.
Has anyone else had this, how do you get around it?
