Transition from hybrid AD to Azure AD

I am looking for some direction. We have Hybrid AD setup and we've begun autoenrolling (new devices only). It is going well and now we want to just bypass hybrid AD and go only Azure AD. Should I do bulk enrollment of on-prem AD devices and users (by location, functional group, etc.)? What do I do with the hybrid joined devices?
