Intune Device restriction

HI 

Can some one please advise or help me?

we have this intune device configuration policy to block the USB drives. but we need to take it off. so what I did because of my lack of knowledge with intune I reomev the policy assignment mean remove  the group which was assigned to the policy. 

but it has been 2 days the policy is not applying the devices but still, the user's USB access is denied. 

please can some one help me o this ??
